At the scene
- Make sure everyone is safe and call 911 if anyone is hurt.
- Turn on your hazard lights and stay clear of traffic.
- Take photos of the vehicles and the scene for your insurer if you can do it safely.
- Take your wallet, phone, keys and anything valuable out of the vehicle before it’s towed.
When you call
Tell us where the accident is, where the vehicle should go, and the make and model. If police are on scene, let us know that too.
